Northville Rowing Club - 2018 Spring Competition Season
March 12 - May 21
Our Spring short course season runs from March through the end of May with practices Monday-Friday on the lake at Kensington Metropark, weather permitting. To see list of scheduled Spring regattas, see the Regatta page. Practice sessions will run M-F 4:15-6:30pm on the lake. If practice is moved indoors to NHS, session times will be 4:30-6:00pm Women, 5:00-6:30 Men. There will also be Saturday morning lake practice during the season on any non-regatta Saturday for the entire team from 7:30-9:30am.

PARK PASSES: Since we are moving to Kensington Metropark, you will need to have an auto pass to enter the park. You can purchase the passes directly from the park front gate or online at: http://www.metroparks.com/shop/

Northville Rowing Club - 2018 Summer Camps
During summer we offer a variety of optional week-long camps. Most camps run Monday through Thursday (unless otherwise indicated) with Friday planned only if there is an inclement weather cancellation earlier in the week. These are a combination of Sweep, Sculling and Learn to Row.
REGISTRATION FOR THESE CAMPS WILL OPEN ON MAY 14. 

For the summer of 2018 we have the following camps planned:

For new rowers:

MIDDLE SCHOOL LEARN TO ROW - June 18-21* 
Monday-Thursday, 6:30-8:30am, $200  
For incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders interested in rowing. Athletic physical and a swim test will be required prior to on water practice.
(minimum 8 rowers, maximum 27 rowers)

HIGH SCHOOL LEARN TO ROW - Aug 20-24* 
Monday-Friday, 4:30-6:30pm, $200
For incoming 9th graders as well as any 10th-12th grade high school student interested in rowing. Athletic physical and a swim test will be required prior to on water practice. 
(minimum 7 rowers, maximum 36 rowers)

ADULT (age 18+) LEARN TO ROW - Aug 27-31* 
Monday-Friday, 5:00-7:00pm, $200
For any adult interested in rowing. No physicals or swim test required, liability release form signatures required instead. 
(minimum 7 rowers, maximum 36 rowers)

*Opportunity for current experienced rowers to attend as well to assist the coaches - talk to Coach Nick if interested.

For returning/current rowers, or new rowers who have already attended a Learn To Row camp (either with our team or at Washtenaw Rowing Center):  

SWEEP CAMP - July 16-19 
Monday-Thursday, 6:30-8:30am, $150
For incoming 9th graders as well as any 10th-12th grade high school student. (minimum 9 rowers, maximum 36 rowers)

For returning/current rowers: 

LEARN TO SCULL Camp - June 25-28
Monday-Thursday, 6:30-8:30am, $200 
For incoming 10-12th grade high school students. (minimum 10 rowers, maximum 14 rowers)

SCULLING Camp - July 9-12 
Monday-Thursday, 6:30-8:30am, $200 
For incoming 10-12th grade high school students. (minimum 10 rowers, maximum 14 rowers)

There will also be potential opportunities for summer private coaching - additional info will be posted as we get closer to summer.

Northville Rowing Club - Fall Competition Season
Our Fall long course season traditionally runs from early September through the end of October with practices Monday-Friday, 4:30-6:30pm on the lake, weather permitting.

Northville Rowing Club - Winter Conditioning
Our optional winter conditioning season traditionally runs from mid November through late February with practices Monday-Friday at NHS on the ergs as well as weight training. Our optional winter conditioning season is a great way to stay in shape and get ready for spring racing!

Northville Rowing Club is a non-profit, 501C3, rowing for Northville High School. NRC is a co-ed, no experience required, competitive club sport, with an opportunity to earn a Varsity Letter. We welcome 9th to 12th Grade students from NHS.
